House fire caused by student plugging toaster into portable charger

A fire in The Holylands that came close to engulfing an entire house was accidentally started when a student tried to bring their toaster into their bedroom and power it using a series of wires that came from a portable charger. The unnamed student said they didn't have enough sockets at the time and wanted to make themselves some toast and thought there would be no issue caused by using a portable charger to power their toaster. They told us how they left their room for a few minutes and when they returned the fire was out of control.
