Holylands resident sets fire to kitchen after heating house with oven

Last night the fire services were called to Carmel Street at around 02:30 after a Holylands resident accidentally set fire to their kitchen after they left their oven running with an open door in an attempt to heat their house. The unnamed student informed us it was due to their house being unable to afford heating for the month and had seen the home heating tip on an online forum for money saving tips.
