Couple engaged after McClay crush turns into a proposal

A couple have announced their recent engagement, 3 months after Sam, a 2nd year Law student, left a note on the desk of his then crush, Sarah, a 1st-year Geography student, which quickly rocketed into an intense relationship between the two. Sam told us about how he had watched Sarah from afar for months, with his love for her being completely oblivious until he "grew a set" and left a note on her desk as she studied one evening, asking her out for a drink in the Hatfield. This led to the starstruck couple quickly moving in together into Sams's house on Palestine Street, where he lives with 2 other friends who said they couldn't be happier for the two. Sam later proposed to Sarah in the McClay library where they were greeted and cheered on by both staff and students who were there at the time of the proposal.
